It is always busy on a family blog especially with everyone keeping an eye out for symptoms of H1N1, but it is especially important to keep an eye out for H1N1 symptoms in children

And so now it’s my turn in the dad side of the equation. This is one of those opportunities as a dad that makes me appreciate my dad. Don’t get me wrong, I love spending time with my kids. I actually really enjoy other kids pretty well too. It just takes some effort to get used to the other dads in the tribe. They’re a good group, but it’s just a little awkward. Of course, the kids are having so much fun … you would think they have been pals for ages. And there is work involved … (gee I sound lazy with that remark)… but really there is. You have to figure out what deeds to work on. There is a manual to read. It’s not like my Kindergartener son is going to read it.
